I was privileged to be a part of the formation of the programmatic advertising ecosystem we know today (for better or worse). Much of my career centered on developing advertising targeting and optimization (machine learning) technology, as well as working closely with clients and partners including such ad tech pioneers as Google/Doubleclick/Invite Media, Yahoo/Rightmedia, MediaMath, TrafficMarketplace, Valueclick, and Adconion.

When the company I helped start, Strategic Data Corp, was acquired by Fox Interactive in 2007 to build an ad platform for Myspace and the rest of the News Corp properties, it was the perfect time to launch a new approach we had filed a patent on and I felt would dramatically improve the efficiency of ad buying.
